The Music Festival – 4rd day of war 🎛️

Hi,
As I was driving from my parents’ house in Har Adar to the north on Sabbath evening, I allowed myself to listen to the news on the radio along the. They interviewed some of the people who took part in the music festival in Re’im.

The Supernova music festival was of a kind we call here a nature party, which basically means trance music will be played and hallucinogens will be consumed.

The festival was one of the locations which had been attacked by Hamas terrorists on Sabbath morning. Unlike the settlements of Gaza surroundings, which have a person responsible for the security, or IDF bases that are guarded by armed soldiers, the festival had minimal armed security.

It was a massacre when armed Hamas terrorists entered the festival, shooting the overwhelmed participants, which many barely understood the situation. Going along the line of cars trying to escape and shooting m through the windows. Others were kidnapped to Gaza strip and their situation is unknown.

Over 260 bodies were recovered from the festival area, and they are slowly being recognized. You hope you know none of them. While the families of the missing hope to find out their beloved ones are in Hamas captivity and not dead.

But each day, someone around the squadron finds out that one of the bodies was recognized as a friend or someone close he knows.

You hope not to find out about it, but the work on recognizing the bodies is under work – and each day might bring the news of a person you knows about.

Take Care
Gad
