Al-Ahli Hospital blast- 17th day of war 🏥

Hi,
As we set down on my parents’ house in Har Adar in the Lioness Den during my 24 hours After, the blast of Al-Ahli Hospital in Gaza was broadcast.

Atzva reaction to the title saying 500 were killed was “well, they have slaughtered 1,300 people from our side.” As cynical as at my be, my first thoughts were that my ends this war from our side.

Just like Operation Grapes of Wrath, which ended when the UNIFIL base outside Qana was mistakenly shelled, killing tragically 105 villagers sheltering in the compound. The international presume on the Israeli government ended the operation.

The first narrative in the forgien news networks was, of course, that IAF bombed the hospital and killed over 500. By mistake or on purpose, it was pretty clear it is Israel to be blamed on this disaster.

Israel has reacted quite fast, checking and declaring the hospital was not bombed. But the narrative international networks have not changed.

At some point, it was clear the blast was caused by launching that went wrong of a rocket by Hamas. Yes, it was Gaza terrorists killing their own people.

Only in this point, international networks and newspapers have changed their mind. Narrative of Israel killing inecent Gaza people did not change, but at least they have published some kind of note stating the coverage was not fair.

So, not only is Hamas holding Gaza strip people as a hostage, but they are also slaughtering them. While the world looks on Israel as responsible for them: supplying water and electricity, while Hamas keeps bombing the above infrastructure. And when Israel cut down and stopped the supply, the blame on the humanitarian disaster is on Israel.

As one wrote: Isn’t it crazy how Gaza us running out of everything but rockets?
