Today was the worst day on the northern front as a direct hit of an anti-tank missile caused the injury of two civilians in Qiryat Shmona (both of them amputees). As I wrote to you about the worst days, there can always be worse.
The two civilians (a mother in her 40s and her son, 16 years old) were driving their car, which was thrown away from the first explosion, and then a second hit caused their injuries.
The rumors are that it was not an anti-Tank missile but an M-80 rocket, shot in direct aiming (as a recoilless launcher) and not in a ballistic parabolic aiming. The rocket is much larger, heavier and with more explosives.
Yesterday, an anti-Tank missile was shot at and hit Beit Hayal (The Soldier House, which hosts soldiers that need a place for the night). This is not a military base, but it does have soldiers in and around it. The missile did make damage, but did not injure or kill anyone.
The attack came in the morning of Hassan Nasrallah speech. As always before his speeches, during this war, he wish to show a damage to Israel. To show as us weak to raise himself on those speeches and show how strong the terror organization of Hezbollah is.
