2026 elections final results

Hi,
We got the final results of 2026 elections, and we are not sure if we should be happy or sad. This I guess will be set on how brave the leaders of the Change wing (those on Eisenkot side) will be.

The final results we got on the elections day, gave higher number of Knesset members (KM) to Eisenkot side – around 53, while the final results are only 48. That while Bibi group got around 50, while he ended up with 53.

The high voting rate (might be one of the highest since 1949) is mainly due to Arab citizens voting. What resulted with 19 Knesset members to the Arab parties, might be the highest the number since Israel independence.

So where are we go now? That is a hard question. Non of the group has a clear 61 KM to create a government.

Bibi from his side can always call out to Eisenkot to create a United National government including both of the biggest parties (Yashar and the Likud) with a couple of more parties.

But why should he? His strategy at the moment will be to wait. He is still the Prime minister, and will be until a new government will take place. He can keep call out slogans that will divide and separate the people. If we will go again for elections – he will probably get better results (with less people flying back to vote and Arab will also vote less).

The other group can make very brave decisions, even with the given results. They can create a government with the Arabs parties, or with Arab parties supporting them from outside (all of the 2 parties).

This will be very brave, and political wise – might play into Bibi hands. He will keep saying “I told you”: I told you it is either me or Palestine, although the parties are of Israeli Arabs, citizens as he is.  He will keep tell they will bought the elections in money (although he got money from Qatar and it had been proven).

But even if they will create a government – they can start passing laws with the Arab on their side in the Knesset: Change the head of the Knesset, limit the number of cadences of the prime minister, allow voting from abroad and many more…
