2026 elections voting rate

Hi,
2026 elections voting rate at 14:00 is record high – 44.9%! It has not been that high since 1973. This give optimistic feeling that those turning point elections are going in the right direction – to finally overturn Bibi Netanyahu from the head of Israel.

It had been full four years since, the hopefully, last government led by Bibi. Still unimaginable that the government that responsible for October 7th massacre is still in charged.

Will we break the all high record election voting rate of 89%, that was set on the first elections (on 1949)? I do hope so, although it is necessarily good for our side, we all assume that higher voting rate will help to overturn this government.

For us, after we had fulfilled our democratic right and voted early as we could (we had to wait in line for half an hour, never had we have to wait for so long to vote) – we spent the rest of the day with two couple of friends in the garden eating meat off the grill. and looking on the voting rates.

Take Care
Gad

Morning and evening lines for the ballots in our neighborhood. Although it showed the lowest voting rate in all Ramat Gan, and lower than Israel average.
