3 years after October 7th

Hi,
3 years after October 7th, most of us are still here.
The official ceremonies were held on October 5th, which is not even the Hebrew date (as the Hebrew date is the holiday of Simchat Torah, that cannot be a official mourning day). Many more have died in the same day the war broke, and many more lost their lives in the three years since then.

All the hostages that were held in Gaza strip are back home, or buried in the ground. After years of trying to avoid an agreement – they were back home in exact same deal that proposed in the first place, while some were murdered meanwhile.

We are still fighting in several frontiers: in Gaza strip, in Lebanon, In the West Bank. Against the Houthis in Yemen, and Iran we did not have a round of several months.

And add to it also an attempt to hijack and crash a plane (9/11 style) two weeks ago. A plane that flow from Duabi to Israel.

The generals, the heads of the army, of the Mossad, Shabak (Israel Security Agency), are mostly gone home.

And our government is still here. Led by Prime Minister Bibi, who is accused in several corruption trails before this war, and still in charge.

The ministries (almost all of them) are still in their seat, as they do not see any reason to quit or take responsibility for the day the war broke, or the past three 3 years since October 7th.

The election will be held in 20 days, and this will be the first government in 38 years to fulfill it days (as sad as it may sound). The polls are still not clear who will be our next prime minister. Yes – it can be Bibi who brought upon us this war and managed it so badly.

In the past weeks, more and more evidences that Bibi was alarmed before October 7th about a war coming, and did not pass the information who could have prevented it all.

And he is still here with us, wish to be again our prime minister – and lead is where?

Take Care
Gad
