Coronavirus vaccine 馃拤

Hi,
Atzva and I just got our first dose of Coronavirus vaccine! I signed in once it been announced the vaccine is available for people under 35. Atzva show a massage on the neighborhood whatsapp group and got a shot on the way home stopped and got a shot.

We had thoughts of postponing the date so we can have a green passport to fly to California in the summer, to visit Atzva sister. But from day to day it does not seen feasible…

Israel seems to be on top of the vaccinated countries: 3 million got the first does (33%), and 1.5 million got the second. It is about the nature of the Israelis – after all, the vaccine is free and there is nothing more that we like more than free stuff. And as the say goes: “If it is free, bring two!”.

On the other side, there is nothing less we like to be than suckers (Fraier in Hebrew) and see other gets the vaccine while they don’t, so people try the Matztliah or try to get a vaccine in Combina.

Israel also manage to get a pretty big amount for its size. Bibi can keep saying that he brought it here, but the fact is that Israel got a big medical Data base, maybe the biggest in the world. The Kuput Holim here (Health maintenance organizations) can easily supply information about if the vaccine causes problem to people with background issues.

Aba just got his second shot, while Ima got hers about a week ago. Means we can send Mindal and Jannaeus to them when this lockdown will end.

But it does not seem to end. We are after two weeks of loosen one and three more strict. The railways had been closed south of Tel-Aviv and Ben -Gurion airport had been closed for a week for the first time I can remember even when rockets land near it during Operation Protective Edge.

It is easy to point out who responsible to it, as was who responsible for this lockdown at the first place – the ultra orthodox sector. They keep holding their political power, and their autonomy for the political power (especially when it is elections time). When the police have tried to force to close the open schools (!) in Bnei-Brak, it ended in riots, anarchy in the streets and a burnt bus. ..

While the number of positive tests started to drop, the real number is how much hospitalized in bad condition – And this number does not drop, but doesn’t increase as well. Means we will have more time under this condition…馃槙
