Fourth elections, third lockdown, 2 vaccine doses, one is God…

Hi,
The third lockdown fourth elections  is here, not unexcpected, for at least 25 days. And so are the not unexcpected fourth elections….

Yep, 4 elections in 2 years (here, here and here). It should have been 1 in 4 years, so we have it 8 times than usual, fun for us 😑.

The days of this government were limited. Once Gantz and Kachul Lavan have entered the government under Bibi, As the party was running under the main promise to take Bibi down.

I do feel sorry for Gantz. He did put Israel in front of everything trying to avoid another elections, trying to pass the budget and have Israel a working government. “I don’t like to wake in the morning and go to school”, he once said. He was talking about the joke on the one’s mother wakes him telling him it is morning and he need to go to school. He answer her the above and she says “you must go, you are the Principal”.

He is kind of people you wish to have as your kid teacher or principal. He do wish to see how things can be worked out. Too bad for him it is politics, and he was dealing with old practiced politicians. And above all Bibi, that will do all that need to hold another half a year as Prime Minister.

But will he hold another elections? Time will say, as another right wing party is added to the list: New Hope under Saar, ex-Likud minister (Aba worked under him, and was impressed).

In the center you will have Yesh Atid under Lapid who doesn’t catch much. Kachul Lavan under Gantz will probably evaporated.

On the left wing, Meretz, my party and the Arab Party are the only left out. The main left wing party of Israel, HaAvoda (The Work) that ruled between 1948 and 1977 and some cadences later will vanish on those fourth elections.

I did feel sorry for it for a short time, but it is no longer relevant. It seems parties come and go. You can look on the two parties on US first elections, one of it was the Democratic-Republican party…

Take care
Gad
