Hi,
Mindal has been sent to quarantine, one of her kids at the kindergarten was tested positive for coronavirus.
We have split the house to avoid all of us to enter quarantine as well: Atzva with Mindal at house and I with Jannaeus (coming home only to bath and sleep, in a separate room of course).
It was necessary to maintain the mental health of us all. During the first lockdown, I went out and bike to office on my half day of work. While she stayed at home to work on her half day of work. I don’t know how she did it then, and how she does it now.
Well, I know of a few things that help her to pass it – ice cream and alcohol.
Xuxa was sent out of the house for her own good, to the hotel on Har Adar. One bark too much when we are all on the edge. Petel is here all although she yawn all day long, asking for food and water..
The word quarantine comes from Spanish meaning 40 (but you probably know already…) for the 40 days of isolation that was casted on the ships that ask to enter Venice during the Black Plague.
Lucky for us it is only 14 days for the Coronavirus. 10 days if you have negative test (one at the start and one at the end of this time). Cross fingers it we are pass it…
