Iran – Pakistan – 103rd day of war

Hi,
Iran proxies are all over the Middle East: Hezbollah on Lebanon north of us, Hamas on Gaza strip and the West bank, the Houthis in Yemen. But it seems Iran is a way of pushing the world towards the war (maybe World War III?)  is not limited to narrow definition of the Middle East but extends more east – to Pakistan.

Iran and Pakistan are now making attacks on each other territories and population as the hostility between the countries rises. It started when Iran attacked “Iranian terrorists on Pakistan,” killing two children and wounding several more.

Pakistan is a Muslim country, and it has never had diplomatic relationships with Israel. It did, however, clear stated it is against Israel and pro Palestinian. Mainly as a Muslim country and as part of the muslim world support on the Palestinians. Although Pakistan is a Muslim country with a nuclear weapon, it does not aim it on us and threats to destroy Israel as Iran does (and executes)

I once landed on Pakistan. We were on our way to Nepal on an EWB mission. Some of us were holding American passports, which was not OK, but not as bad as the passport I had – an Israeli passport.

We were all quite cool about it, except the professor (which Canadian passport) who quickly collected our passports and kept them close.

Just to make clear how bad it was , the Pakistan passport Inscription states, “This passport is valid for all countries of the world excep Israel.”

But somehow, now we seem to be on the side, or at least to have a common enemy. Just as Israel stands with Saudi Arab and UAE against Iran and its proxies.

Take Care
Gad
