Gazlan

Hi,

It something, as far as I aware of, unique for us – The Gazlan.

When I asked my relative how would he call it, he simply said Food Truck. Which describe it well if we are talkimg about the fact it is truck and has kind of food.

But it doesn’t really have food. When I hear about food truck I imagine myself good food, just like in the *movie*.

Our Gazlan usually has snacks and toast at max. Special one have some meat, but those are rare but don’t think about some chef steak.

On the other hand they kind of Ice cream car, they even the music of an Ice cream car.

“Snacks and toast at exaggerated prices on wheels” was the definition we decided on finally. Which lead me to why we call it Gazlan. Gezel means stealing, in ancient Hebrew. And yes, you will pay a lot more on an Ice cream than in your local 24/7 shop.

But what really amazing about those Gazlan cars, is that can get anywhere. You know what, not only “can”, they get to anywhere.

I have seen Gazlan cars wait for us in the end of army trek, when later I realized How are away is it. I have seen them drive between the tanks in Golan heights just before a fire training start. You know what I have seen them drive between the tanks while they go and shoot targets!

Take care
Gad

Just a little more blooming flowers - the Yarmouk riverDown when we were visiting the Yarmouk river, we thought a Gazlan went over the border and down.
“See that white car on the right? Me and my friend where sure it was gazlan, and wondered how he got here. But apparently it was a white army ambulance.”
