You got the military reserve and second thing (just after declaring you are here) is to sign on military equipment.
It is amazing how much stuff you need for your military reserve: a rifle 🔫, uniforms, an helmet, a military equipment bag (kit bag), tactical vest, fragments vest, sleeping bag….. Somehow you still manage to squeeze it all into the that kit bag, and lift up your shoulder.
But the list keeps going – radio equipment📻, optical equipment 🔭 , armory equipment💣, equipment for commanders💂… all in special bags that fits to handle it. Here it becomes a bit of a problem.
Because you have you own personal equipment bag – hygiene, underwear, some sweets. And you are now loaded with equipment.
Back in basic training,
you had even more. I still amazed I remember the list in my head and how it jumps out when I do different equipment lists😅 No wonder that when you have to go down to the field with all of it, it called an “elephant marching”. 🐘
Well, you understand now what I wrote you couple of posts ago about logistics. And how come the vice – commander of the force always has to deal with all of those logistics.
