Shelter refusers – 2nd Iran war 20th day

Hi,
As this war with Iran lasts we go more and more Shelter refusers. They are not really object to get into the shelter or any other protected area, but do not really do so.

They might be tired to be shelter warriors and to get down in the middle of the night to the shelter. Or to pack their babies during their afternoon nap and hope they will not wake up as they are carrying out to the staircase.

In my parents house they say they are going down because there is not enough place in the protected area. By Going down they mean they are going down to the underground basement level (which is kind of a protected area), which might be reasonable, but they do not go there, but just stay outside and wait for everybody to go out.

I do not blame anybody, we are all tired of those 19 days of war (and two years before it). But they all need to understand that not going the protected area during a siren alarm, or going out of it too early is just dangerous

And yes, there are also those who would not wait for the official announcement you can go out and that the event had ended. They find out early through Telegram or Whatapp channel if the missile had been intercepted or that all the interception fragments all fell – and go outside. As the Thai agriculture worker found out couple of days ago – it might be lethal.

Take Care
Gad

Some videos of people in Dimona last night who decided no to go the shelter, to the protected space or even to the staircase and luckily got out of it.
