A cease fire with Lebanon was set this morning. Like the cease fire with Iran in the End of Am KeLavi war, this was set by Trump without asking or consulting with both of the sides. It seems it this is the real end of 2nd Iran war for us here in Israel.
I think this is the best solution for Israel and Lebanon, or this war could have last years (just see what going on in Gaza strip). In this case it was good Trump was the responsible adult (as funny as calling him adult and responsible may be).
For Iran, this cease fire defends one of its important proxies (Hezbollah) and it is probably was one of Iran’s demands for it cease fire with USA in order to open Hormuz strait.
Just couple of hours before the cease fire one of Hezbollah rockets hit a city in northern Israel, injuring one moderate and causing damage to several cars. The siren kept heard in north of Israel till 2:00 AM.
The cease fire with Lebanon was set for 10 days, but I do hope it will last for more. Just as the cease fire between Iran and USA was set for 14 days, but we are all hope it will also last for more than that.
I was a reserve duty was scheduled for one area, and was already rescheduled, re-positioned and extended several times since the beginning of the 2nd war with Iran.
I guess that none knows what will happens, and we (the simple soldiers) might even know more because we have time to scroll down Telegram groups and to know first about all the news.
