Passover Seder under fire – 33rd day of war

Hi,
It was pretty clear to us all that we will have to the Passover Seder under fire. And still, it is not fun to run to the protected area when you hear siren alarms just when you are about to sit to the holiday dinner.

The are always traffic jams before this holiday (and other holidays), but today was not a day to get stuck in one of them. Hiding on the side of the road with small kids and a dog from both Iranian ballistic missiles and rainy weather is something I would definitely wished to avoid.

This is why we went out on our way early as possible, as Atzva and I sends each other small teasing comments over the fact we should have have packed to a vacation in Greece and not to a Passover Seder in my father an mother in law house in Dolev.

Other have found themselves in the situation I described above – and made a U-turn home to cook and celebrate the Seder on their private house without relatives.

While we were went sent to the protected area once, other have spent most of the day, and the evening under endless siren alarms. Those are mostly those who lives in the settlements along the border with Lebanon in the North. Although many of them empty since they have been evacuated after October 7th attack, some had some people returning to them in the past half year. A trend ended after the beginning of She’agt Ha’Ari war started.
