War on energy – 2nd Iran war 23rd day

Hi,
This war in Iran didn’t become about energy. It always was a war about energy. From the outside, this war is about nuclear fears, or dominance, or ideology.

But underneath all of it runs a much simpler—and far more powerful—engine: energy control.

Look at what’s actually being targeted by Iran: Gas fields, Oil terminals. Refineries. Shipping routes, etc. And not only towers, airports and symbols of the regime in Iran.

The strike on South Pars—the heart of Iran’s gas production—wasn’t symbolic. It hit a system that supplies roughly 70% of Iran’s gas and powers its economy. The pressure on Kharg Island—handling most of Iran’s oil exports—is about choking revenue, not just sending a message.

And then there’s the real battlefield: the Strait of Hormuz: This narrow passage carries about 20% of the world’s oil. Once Iran restricted the pass in, the war stopped being regional. It became global overnight (not to be confused with World War, as this is not World War III as some happily claims and many Reddit memes claims).

Oil prices surged. Supply chains cracked. Governments scrambled. That is because energy isn’t just another sector—it’s the system beneath everything: industry, food production, military power, economic stability, etc.

Trump just declared of an ultimatum of 48 hours for the Iranian regime to open the strait of Strait of Hormuz, or the USA will start booming Iran power plants. Iran responded with its own threat – that it will bomb power plants of Arabian countries around the Persian Gulf.

Atzva said, half laughing – the kidnapping of Venezuela president Maduro, might have been of a plan to get the ready to this war. By getting control of biggest oil reservoirs in the world. Again – as part of the war on energy.
