Hi,
This war was shows the use of new weapons, such as the Hetz. the The Hetz is an anti ballistic missile. It is the elder brother of David Sling. which, in turn, the elder brother of the famous Iron dome. A big, happy, and famous family of the missile defense system of Israel which keeps us safe and help us sleep at night.

The Hetz missile was used before to intercept a S-200 missile (a Russian anti aircraft missile system), but Tuesday morning (2 days ago) was the first time the Hetz was used for its original purpose – to intercept a long range ballistic missile.

The missile, made in Iran, was shot from Yemen, by the Houthis, a Shia Muslim organization, which is slogan, is “God is great, death to the US, death to Israel, curse the Jews, and victory for Islam,”. This is part of the Iran uses of proxies, such as Hamas and Hezbollah, to attack Israel in this Iron Swords war without taking responsibility for it.

Apart from the Hetz, Israel uses Iron dome, which has been working for more than a decade (since 2011), intercepting hundreds of rockets launched mainly from Gaza strip.

The other of Israel Air missile defense system, David Sling, was first activated half a year on May during day 4 of operation Shield and Arrow about half a year ago.

The Hetz was first activated 6 years ago, launched against the S-200 air defense system missiles targeted IAF aircraft attacking in Syria ( I was watching it from Susya during my military reserve duty).
