Camping, this is what if feels like sometimes when you find yourself a night or couple of nights just sleeping outside in the field. We had to pack a large amount of equipment (other than the usual equipment we had to carry on us all day long), just like in any other camping trip I had the pleasure to visit.
Of course we are not just sleeping outside having a fun fire camp with some marshmallows and showing each other the Orion belt in the sky. Although that can be fun to do it with my brothers in arms, hopefully without the uniforms on us, with a nice stream on the side and some buzz do lower down the mode.
This time we had to keep an eye on a driller that was looking for the tunnels of Hamas terror organization, hopefully to find some information on the Israeli hostages it still holds and demolish it if not (one once mentioned that Gaza strip has some 600 km of tunnels, while London underground has only 500 km).
In some of the locations the driller team did found the tunnels, while in others will have another night of searching. Those that were confirmed, and the driller did hit a tunnel, are waiting for Engineering corps forces that will blow them up. They are using kind of a fluid explosive nick named Emolsia (the Hebrew term for Emulsion), that allows it to easily flow in the tunnel and fill it completely. That it easier than carrying explosives inside the tunnel manually to fill it, and much faster than doing so.
