Back to work at night

Hi,
The IDF is back to work at night. That it at least can be said about the operations taking place in Lebanon those days. It might be that in Gaza strip, Syria and the West bank they are still work during the day.

We have been in Gaza strip, Lebanon, Gaza strip and back to Lebanon and only now – in our fourth round of fighting (and sixth round of military reserve duty) we are going out to missions during the night.

Before – the enemy was so weak – it was better to work in day light. But now – With the fiber optic drones hitting quickly and without alert – it is the best way of defending ourselves (apart from moving quickly when you are out on the field, and cover yourself with fishing nets and fences when you are in the base).

It is not easy – to flip day and night. But in some way – it does bring you to all the drills we used to do during our reserve duty in the training base. How we used to train until daylight and then go to sleep.

Those reserve duty training were hard, it used to take us several days to get back in order after coming back from it – now we at least got some several more days to rearrange our sleeping hours.

Take Care
Gad

We are also carrying those, and we have so many (and so few soldiers) – almost each one is using one.
