Hi,
Ramat gan is the first settlement in the Longest time in the protected area list of settlements. Apparently, according to Mako website, we have spent almost 17 hours in the protected area since 1st of March up till 8:00. And this number keeps going up every day passing of this war.
About 17 hours in 9 days, makes about 2 hours a day. Not bad if you think about it. This is about the average with the amount of siren alerts we have here. But it is not the issue – as the issue with siren alerts is that they come in surprise. And you have to run to the protected area and get there the fastest you can.
The pre-alert that almost always get for an Iranian ballistic missiles coming in, gives as about 10 minutes in advance to get ready to get to the protected area, only there are times there is no such a pre-alert: It might be because the system failed, or for it is a Hezbollah missile from Lebanon.
If not in education, public transportation, bike routes or any other standard of living – at least we are first in that parameter. You can add to this Ramat Gan also some only to have several Iranian ballistic missiles landed in during Am Kelavi war. It also the only few that had an Iraqi ballistic missile in the Gulf war.
But the settlements on the northern border of Israel with Lebanon, are probably catching up with Ramat Gan since Hezbollah had joined the war. Those settlements are being bombed with mortar shells, anti-tank missiles, drones and rockets several times a day.
Take Care
Gad
