Action – 139th day of war

Hi,
“It 7:30, the action should already start,” my brother in arms on the post said. And the action of this bad morning began.

It started with a whistle we both thought was a light weapon shoot, but 15 seconds later, before we even managed to check with the battilion war room, we heard the explosion. The smoke raised over Kfar Yuval confirmed what we thought – it was an anti-tank missile and

Before the company placed in Kfar Yuval confirmed they were all good and safe, our company had reported injuries.

The injuries were from a light armored vehicle, David, of another team of our company that flipped over. Two injuries were evcauated to Sieff hospital in Safed, mainly with head injuries.

As we were listening to the radio about the injured status, another explosion was heard. This time, it came from the south. Later, we learned it was an anti-tank missile (or an explosive UAV) that was lanched towards the brigade command in Qiryat Shmona (Gibor base) and hit it.

Meanwhile, we were looking at the smoke raising over Kfar Yuval from the fire that the anti-tank missile ignited, and we learned that at least there, no injuries were reported.

The attack on Gibor base also ended without any injuries, summarizing the morning action with only two light injuries from the car accident.
