Week 39 – Hanuka 🕎and Tel-Aviv Light rail 🚅

Week 39 – Ima said that I was born in week 42, and Atzva will also give birth late. She is suffering and wish it will be over =/. You have Christmas and New year and we have Hanukkah, the holiday of lights. So eat a lot of Sufganiyah, Singing the songs of Hanukkah and light up the Chanukia (which has 9 candles, one for each of the eight days of the holiday plus one to lit them up. Not to be confused with the Menorah which has 7 lights, one for every day of the week).

Except that – I had a tour to the construction site of the TBM of Tel-Aviv Light rail . Those are being built inside a shaft in middle of the city. They are hugh, and reminds me the worm that was in The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, eating the ground as it goes forward and making a tunnel behind her.

Archimedes’ screw inside the machines, those taking out are the dirt from the bottom of the drilling part and load the small wagons that takes the dirt outside the tunnel.
