Škocjan Caves,
Slovenia.

The Avshalom cave?
Those cave called karst caves because this phenomena (Of water creating shapes and caves on limestone or dolomite) is best seen in the Karst area in Slovenia and Italy.
We drove a bit (Well…. one day in each direction…=) but this was worth it!
First we visit the Škocjanske cave. it was amazing, seeing the underground that made that cave and the Stalactites and the Sentinels. We were not allowed to take pictures, but we took some in the second part that we walked alone, without a guide =)
Postjona cave, The other cave we been to was… was… well….mmm… it was HUGE! you have to take a train inside the cave to get to the most interesting part: All kinds of beautiful forms of limestone made by water. Here also we were not allowed to take pics, but the Japanese group did what they do best (I mean take pictures), so we decided to join and in case someone will tell us something – we will answer him in Japanese =)
Such a long day but also a the kind that make you feel satisfy, and…. It was the first rainy day and we spend it all in caves! =)
lucky us.
