Hi,
There are no more hostages in Gaza strip, dead or alive. After 843 days of war, since October 7th 2023. About an 100 days after the last live hostages were returned from Gaza strip as part of a deal to end to war, the last of the hostages was returned to Israel.
The body of Ran Gvili was found in a cemetery in Gaza strip after a massive digging project to check 900 bodies (out of 18,000 bodies), 9 baggers, hundreds of soldiers, IED units, 24 doctors. And after 350 bodies, 2:50 at night the body was found.
I am happy the body was found. But not personally, more for the family. But I would not sing and dance around the body as was shown in videos.
Put it aside – I do hope it is a step to real end this war and go another step to make Israel normal again. Israel prime minister never considered the hostages as part of winning the war. Unless – he could have write it as an achievement under its name – as he did.
Can we say we won the war and the government finally takes responsibility over October 7th massacre? Something it should have done years ago (unbelievable everybody except the government were resigned or fired since the disaster except the government itself).
We can have elections now to set a new (I hope) leadership that will lead us to a new way and will not keep us in an endless war as Bibi hope to do to keep his seat.
Take Care
