Dub in nursery – 87th day of war

Hi,
Dub is getting into nursery today with a nanny. The first of the new year, as he is half a year old.

We did not put Jannaeus so early in the nursery. And not Mindal. Our parents and we shared the job and took care of them until they were old enough for us to feel safe and sent them out to people we do not know, to take care of.

Now, we have two more kids to take care of (and dog, and cat). Our parents have many more grandchildren to split them time between (from both sides) . We also have a nanny we trust after she and her daughter have taken care of Mindal.

We had many discussions on how I would split my work to help out with Dub after the holidays , but in the end, I have spent those times in military reserve duty in the north. And Atzva spent it with the kids.

As the new year entered around the world, here in Israel, we had our own fireworks. At least that was it sounded at first. “How irresponsible people can be to have fireworks at a time like this?”. (There used to be a bunch of kids playing with fireworks in Park HaYarkon during the summer time)

But those were not fireworks, but the interceptions of Iron Dome of rockets launched at midnight to center Israel – Happy New Year to Israel.

Take Care
Gad
