The world effects waves of this war in Iran are propagating around the world. This is while we here in Israel are focusing on the damages of the Iranian ballistic missiles and Hezbollah rockets in Tel Aviv, Beit Shemesh and around Israel and how to work with your kids at home.
Oil prices are spiking as Iran close the strait of Hormuz for crossing of ships. creating a shortage in oil making the cost of a barrel to go over 100$.
The oil price and by products costs creating problems in chain supply of many products around the world. Making not only the cost of the oil and gas itself to spike but also many of many other products. But might spark inflation around the world.
This war change the why weapons are looked upon. Iran manage to close the strait of Hormuz using a fleet of small suicide boats and bombs the countries around it with cheap drones. While the costs of those weapons is pretty low, the costs of the bombs, aircraft, areal defense system US is using is thousands of time more expensive.
We do not know how long this war will last, and seems no one even know what is the purpose that the USA is pointing at. It might takes weeks, or end up tomorrow morning. All we can do right now is hope to stay alive here…
