600 days of war

Hi,
600 days of war
600 days since Hamas terror attack on Israel on October 7th 2023.
600 days, in which 58 hostages are still held in captivity in Gaza strip by Hamas terror organization.

I do not see any end date to this war in the Gaza strip (that changed its name from Operation Swords of Iron to Operation Gideon’s Chariot). Although, we have been promised that we are a step from a victory several times along this time.

But Hamas terrorists are still hitting our soldiers hundreds of days after the ground maneuver had started and some 70% of the Gaza strip building have been hit or demolished.

The IDF chief of staff took responsibility for his part in not preventing the October 7th attack. The head of the Israel security agency (Shin Bet) took responsibility too for his part in not preventing it.

But our politicians are still holding strong in their chairs. They are holding so strong I start to think that they will keep the war only not to go elections in October 2026.

And we, somehow, keep living our lives here. Running to the protected area every couple of days when a siren alarming of a Houthi missile is heard. Waiting for the next military reserve duty Tzav 8 to be sent out. Go out on Saturday night to Kaplan street to protest against the government and to call to the release of the hostages. Having a beautiful weekend and realize there are still hostages held in Hamas tunnels in Gaza….

Take Care
Gad
