Hi,
My uncle had died. Passed away – he had fever. Only 38 degrees.
He went to sleep in the hospital, and never wake up.
I think you met him couple of times during your visits here.
The funeral was today.
Never mind how sad those funerals are, we keep on laughing while crying.
We have a cult film here called “Mivtza Savta” (Operation grandmother). He tells about the funeral of the grandmother of 3 brothers, and how they arrange her funeral.
Start with the brother that try to arrange it as military operation, and go on with the Israeli black-sad humor.
Each funeral we keep quoting parts of the movie.
Until lately I haven’t thought over weather it is based on true story.
But it is.
It only makes you realize that even when you burying someone you love, things can go worse….
