Finally finding my wife!! =)
An exciting event, it’s been a long time since I haven’t seen her more than two days =)

Two weeks in our time anyway – It is third world country after all, time works different here.

But in Ethiopia it works even in a more weird way:

First, they live in a different year.

Not in a mean they live in the dark ages. But they have their own calendar.
For example today (6th of October) is the 22.04.2008 to their count…=0

Second – They start counting the hours from 6 am. And then again in 6 pm. That means that 10 am is 04:00 for them. while 19:00 is 01:00! haaa!!

Come to think about it – we, the Jewish, have our own calendar. And we start counting the days from the sunset of the day before.

But here, it is more close to the regular calendar what makes it a lot more confusing and mind crazing.

There is a reason for it – Ethiopia and Golan heights are on the two end of the Syrian-African rift.
