Haifa, Israel
This is something we don’t have a lot in Israel, those small neighborhood cinema. There is one in Jerusalem, called Lev (“heart”) cinema. but it is nowhere near were we lived.

We decided to try the one we have here in Haifa. It is kind of different entertainment than driving half an hour to the cinema. Walking make it much more… fun =)

We, Atzva and I, went to see an Israeli film, Plaot (“Wonders”). A good reason not to download it like most of the film we watch. It was nice, it always makes me happy to see parts of Israel, and especially Jerusalem on the big screen. To poke Atzva each time we see a special place we been to together.

The movie is about a Rabbi believed to have special forces. Like many times, this Rabbi, who isn’t always clean by himself, is surrounded by thieves and liars trying to make money for themselves. Those people holding the Rabbi and some people are getting in their way, trying to help him.

Atzva later told me the movie is based on a real story of Nir Ben Artzi. That the people of is cult hold him for over 4 years calming he is getting stronger. That way his believers kept donate money, that went straight to the pockets of the thieves and the lairs.

It is a profitable business here, all those talismans and blessings.

Take Care
